FB Group Member Counter ("the extension") is a Chrome extension that lets you export the names and member counts of the Facebook™ groups you have joined into a CSV file on your own computer. Your privacy is the priority: the extension is built to run entirely on your device.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. The extension does not use analytics, trackers, cookies, or remote servers. We never receive any of your data.
Only when you click the "Export" button, the extension reads the names, member counts, and links of the groups shown on the Facebook™ "Groups you've joined" page you are viewing, and compiles them into a CSV file. That CSV is downloaded directly to your computer by your browser. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us or any third party.
activeTab and scripting: to run the export on the Facebook™ tab you are viewing, only when you click the button.facebook.com: to read your group list on that page so it can be written to the CSV. The extension acts only on facebook.com.The only output is the CSV file your browser saves to your Downloads folder. You control that file. We retain no copies and have no database.
No data is shared, sold, or transferred to any third party. There are no advertising or analytics integrations.
The extension is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
